Our thoughts are with everyone affected by yesterday’s tragic incident on Water Street in Liverpool. We wish everyone injured a full and speedy recovery and stand in solidarity with the people of this great city. citizenAID provides training and guidance to empower the general public to deliver life-saving skills, whatever the cause of an incident, before the arrival of the emergency services; this includes vehicle attacks. The charity advocates that in the absence of first aid kits, it is acceptable to improvise in emergency situations. This includes the use of 'improvised tourniquets' to control severe bleeding which can be life-threatening if not quickly controlled.
