Don't miss citizenAID at the Qualsafe Conference this April!

citizenAID is delighted to announce that it is the nominated charity for the Qualsafe Conference this April.

Taking place at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds on Friday 27th April, the Qualsafe Conference is set to attract hundreds of delegates from across the UK, who will benefit from a day of expert presentations and workshops, led by renowned industry experts.

Hosting a talk entitled "In the Aftermath of Terror and Trauma: Be Prepared, Not Scared", Co-founder of citizenAID, Andy Thurgood, will be discussing the rationale behind citizenAID and its importance within the first aid industry.

Throughout the event, delegates will also have the opportunity to find out more about the wider citizenAID initiative, and its recently launched Tourni-Key – a light, rigid plastic device, in high visibility yellow that converts a strip of material/clothing into an effective improvised tourniquet.

Andy confirmed: "citizenAID is delighted to be presenting at the Qualsafe Conference this April. Aside from providing us with the opportunity to promote our charity objectives - namely improving public resilience in the face of terrorism - it also allows us to connect with the important Qualsafe community. of First Aiders and CFR's" We are also honoured to be the named charity for 2018's conference and are extremely grateful to the Qualsafe team for their continued support."
